New Portfolio Responsibilities

As part of the Liberal plan to tackle South Australia’s economic crisis  I'm excited to have been given the new roles of Shadow Minister for Transport and Infrastructure and Shadow Minister for Road Safety in Steven Marshall's frontbench team. Preliminary Glenside master plan

On 30 November, Renewal SA released the preliminary Glenside master plan which incorporated the response from Cedar Wood Properties Limited, the public property development company which was selected to deliver the planned Glenside development.

White Ribbon Day 2015

Today is White Ribbon Day, the National Day to Stop Men's Violence against Women. The campaign is the largest global male-led movement to stop violence against women and asks all Australians to take a stand today to end men's violence against women.

Unley Salvation Army - call for community groups and volunteers

Major Reno Elms and his Unley Salvation Army team do a lot of great work in our community and they are currently seeking volunteers to help out at their community centre at 70 Marion Street, Unley. They are also offering space in their centre for local community groups who are seeking a regular home base and want to become part of their welcoming community.

37th Annual Dimitria Festival

At the Saint Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Parish of Salisbury on Sunday 15 November, I was delighted to be among many distinguished guests who came from many cultural backgrounds, celebrating one of the state's long running festivals, the Dimitria Greek Festival.

East Turkistan National Day

On Sunday 15 November, the East Turkistan community in South Australia remembered the establishment of the two East Turkistan Republics, the first on 12 November 1933 and the second on 12 November 1944.

Telugu Deepavali Celebrations

The Telugu Association of South Australia hosted their Deepavali Festival Celebrations on Saturday 14 November at the Burnside Community Hall and I was given the honour of being the event's 'Chief Guest', representing Mr Steven Marshall MP, State Liberal Leader.

Pride March 2015

Held on the same night at the Feast Festival Opening Night Party, hundreds of South Australians celebrated LGBTIQ love, strength and diversity with a Pride March from Victoria Square to Hindley Street West on the night of Saturday 14 November.
